ICA-approved online CPTED Training Starting 16 March 2026

The next ICA-certified online Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) training course begins on Monday, 6 March 2026.
The course delivery will be released over 6 weeks. After each week's delivery participants can access each part of the course in whatever time best suits them.
Course Structure
This six-week program requires approximately three hours per week of self-paced online study, designed to accommodate professional schedules. The curriculum aligns with International CPTED Standard ISO 22341:2021.
Participants receive an Individual ICA-approved Class-A Certificate of CPTED Training on fulfillment of the eight CPTED Units of Competency required for ICA CPTED Practitioner qualification and completion of the training.
Course Content
- The 10 CPTED principles of ISO 22341:2021
- Crime Risk Assessments using the Crime Risk Matrix
- Interpretation of crime statistics
- The CPTED process and practical exercises per ISO 22341:2021
- Current approaches to lighting, green spaces, and social CPTED
- Multi-disciplinary team collaboration
- CPTED and related standards (disaster recovery etc)
- CPTED for public libraries
- Understanding neophobia in CPTED implementation
Optional weekly live Zoom Q&A sessions are available, along with ongoing forum and email support with the trainer.
